2.1 TEACHING METHODS
The teachers in Satit Bangna School are required to study the curriculum of the educational institution concerned in order to understand the learning standards, indicators, learners’ major capacities, desirable characteristics and learning contents suitable to the learners. The teachers then proceed to design learning management by choosing teaching methods and techniques, learning media/resources, and evaluation measures, so as to allow the learners to develop to their highest potentiality and thereby attain the established goals.
Satit Bangna School has 3 methods of teaching. The first one is Guided Learning, it refers to an array of classroom practices that promotes students learning through guided and increasingly independent investigation. This technique is used to create an independent learner who is able to find the information by himself and manage his own learning, so that the students can share their ideas and opinions and collaborate with each other. The second is Students’ activities. These activities are aimed at instilling self-discipline, ability to lead and follow, teamwork, responsibility, problem-solving ability, appropriate decision-making, rationality, helpfulness and generosity, care, concern and unity. The activities are organized in accord with capacities, aptitudes and interests of learners, who practice the activities at all stages, i.e., study, analysis, planning, plan implementation, evaluation and improvement. Emphasis is given to teamwork as appropriate and consistent with learners’ maturity and school and local contexts. The third is Working and Presenting with others. In this method, students can get distinct benefits.  Students can achieve much more than individual working on their own, develop their interpersonal skills and also help them to identify themselves to know their own strengths and weaknesses.

2.2 LEARNING MATERIAL AND INNOVATION
English is taught every day from Monday  until Friday with one hour period for each day. There are various kinds of learning material that are used in teaching and learning activity in Satit Bangna School. Some English Teachers use Learning Material such as worksheet from book, group activity instructions, games and also homework assignment. For Primary 5 and Primary 6, Teachers provide a valuable routine. Teachers teach new vocabulary words every day. The teachers also provide the students with game regarding the lesson which is take pressure off of the teachers and also provide important practice and fun for the students. The teachers also use the internet as the resources. The teachers then develop and modify the material as investment in good teaching. For Lower Secondary, teachers also provide valuable routine such as asking each student to give an example of related material as a brainstorming in order to start the lesson.
2.3 SOURCES OF LEARNING AND TECHNOLOGY
The learning sources that are used by the teachers are various. For class Primary 5 and Primary 6, the teacher uses Cambridge Global English Book Learner’s Book, Cambridge Global English Book Activity Book, and also Cambridge Global English Book Teacher’s guidebook.
For Lower Secondary class, the teacher uses A Grammar Guidebook for Students of English by Amin, A. Eravelly, R. and Ibrahim, F. J. 2004. Cambridge University Press, England.
Besides, the teacher also use kinds of technology to deliver the lesson to the students, such as big screen TV and also audio. The teachers also develop the material through internet with some modifications in order to activate the students’ learning.

2.4 AUTHENTIC ASSESMENT
1.      Classroom assessment
The teachers regularly and continuously measure and evaluate students’ performance in teaching-learning activities by using diverse assessment techniques, e.g., asking questions while or after delivering the material, observing the students’ development in  understanding the material, examining homework, assessing projects, tasks/assignments and portfolios, and using written tests.

2.      School assessment
The school conducted an evaluation  in order to appraise the learners’ achievements on an annual/semester basis, based on assessment of reading, analytical thinking and writing, desirable characteristics, and learner development activities. For e.g., analysis test and also test for Primary 6 students. The result of this assessment is used as the guidelines, as well as reports on each educational institution’s achievement to its school board, the office of the educational service area, parents and the community.
